Lucie Khahoutian. 1990

Lucie Khahoutian is an Armenian visual artist born in 1990 in Yerevan. She graduated from Minas Avetysyan school of Fine Arts in 2010 and received a Fine Arts Degree from the American University of Armenia in
Yerevan in 2013. Her practice blends collage, photography, textile and installation. Lucie's body of work aspires to build encounters between western contemporary visual culture and strong traditional Armenian references. Her works approaches a wide range of topics while being very focused on cultural heritage, caucasian identity and memory. Involving both her background and elements of her current life, she weaves a visual tapestry of her surroundings and works on visual narratives in which occident and orient coexist smoothly. 
She’s been a finalist for the prizes Résidence BMW (FR), The New Vanguard (USA), Voies Off Arles (FR), Cosmos Award Arles (FR), or Hyères Fashion and Photography Festival (FR), and winner of Emerging Talents (Rome, Italie), Spotlight Award (Dublin, Ireland), Fotografia Europea (Regio Emilia, Italie). Her work is shown in institutions such as Mattaio (IT), Aperture Gallery (NY), Red Hook Labs Galerie (NY), or festivals such as Vogue Photo Milano, Circulation(s), Arles, Mois de La Photographie Los Angeles, or Unseen Amsterdam. Her work is presented in publications including Foam Magazine, Dazed and Confused, El Pais, Internazionale, The British Journal of Photography, I-D, ou Fisheye Magazine. 
She is regularly exhibited internationaly and is part of collections of Villa Noailles, Tbilisi Museum for Photography, and Palais Galiera.

Charlotte Fos. 1990
[ENG]

Charlotte Fos is a Canadian visual artist born in 1990 in Montreal.
She graduated from Concordia Faculty of Fine Arts and received a degree in Design Studies in 2010 and a MA in Digital Arts with honors in 2013. Charlotte's works usually take the form of compulsive studies around themes that she is obsessed with. Passionate collector, she investigates the possibilities of multiple narratives and build series of variations often searching for the origin and meaning of the topic she builds her study on. Her primary focus is on Greco-Roman's era and aesthetics from which she takes her inspiration and builds visual resonances with contemporary items.
Almost alike an archeologist, she digs through the past in search of similarities to maybe find meaning in our sometimes chaotic take on production and use and highlight a silver lining in our common history. Very much interested in digital progress she mocks the hecticness of modern technology and medias while questioning our ability to function without these new tools we now seem to depend on. She is currently based in Montréal, Québec.

Camille Lévêque. 1985
[ENG]

Camille Lévêque is a visual artist whose practice blends photography, collage, video and installation.
Whilst constantly developing her photography practice, she explores intimacy and build layered visual narratives blending documentary work with an artistic and personal approach. Her work thinks about relationships, matters of identity and origins - often looking at family as the cornerstone of her analysis. Very much interested in the notion of family mythology, her research starts from an individual perspective to confront it with a collective one, building a conversation around the importance of memory and hereditary history in our relationship with reality. The photographic object becomes an excuse to investigate our ability to exchange, perceive, and document the truth or, on the contrary, to distort it to our benefit and re-invent ourselves. By pushing the boundaries of the medium, she plays with her past to a certain extent, seeking a new take on self-narration - on both an individual and collective scale. She has been working as a reporter for the UNHCR in Armenia and an editorial assistant for Magnum Photos in Paris to then focus on her practice as photographer and publisher. She is the co-founder of publishing house ORPHEUS STANDING ALONE. Leveque has lived and worked in France, Armenia and the US, she is currently based in Paris.

Ina Lounguine. 1993

Ina Lounguine is a Ukrainian visual artist, born in Odessa. After graduating from the Tavricheskaya Art School of Saint-Petersburg, she Mastered in Esthetics and Culture at the The Ukrainian Academy of Arts. Her body of work aims to trigger political and social debates and encourage dialogue. With visual metaphors she creates scenery for matters she wishes to bring attention to, such as racism, drug use, gun violence and human migrations among others. Her work questions the relationship between perception and reality through the use of misleading images. Blending various kind of imagery and also working with video and sounds she pushes the role of the photographic medium and play with its boundaries. She was a Flash Forward award winner in 2018 and have seen her work in publications such as Le Monde, Libération, Der Greif, Zeit Magazine, Dazed and Confused or Metal Magazine among others. She's been exhibited recently in Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris, York and Athens. She is currently based in Paris, France.

Anna Hahoutoff. 1993

Anna Hahoutoff is a Russian/French photographer born in 1993 in Paris from a French mother and a Russian Father. She majored from Lviv National Academy of Arts in Art Management in 2012 and in History and Theory of Art 2014. Anna is currently living in America and working on a large scale photography project gathering series documenting each American state, searching for similarities and differences in an attempt to build a visual lexicon and understand what ties Americans together. Shooting almost exclusively in digital and color, Anna’s photographs navigate textures, shapes and colors. Far from the ubiquitous American road-trip diary, her work explores almost exclusively nature, voluntarily avoiding human presence and urban settings. Playing on repetition, thus suggesting and illustrating her own pace in each state, her scenic, rhythmic series all intertwine and together knit a canvas where her journey seeking spiritualism appear clearly. She's seen her works published worldwide both online and in print.

Marguerite Horay. 1981

Marguerite Horay is a Belgian visual artist born in Brussels in 1981. She obtained an BA in Digital Arts from ENSAV Brussels in 2007 and an MA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent 2011. Her practice is multimedia based and blends graphic design, illustration, gifs, collages and video. Her visual narratives are strongly and directly influenced by paintings and more especially the surrealism movement. Working on her collages with a wide base of painting’s reproduction or digital manipulation of vintage photographs she reaches different kinds of textures and finish and obtains a final result at the crossroads of illustration, photography and painting. She mainly works on deconstructed and abstract landscapes. She’s been exhibited in art fairs and festivals such as Unseen in Amsterdam or Circulation(s) in Paris and her work has been featured internationally online and in print. She is currently based in Brussels, Belgium.

Lila Khosrovian. 1987

Lila Khrosrovian graduated from Amasia Art school 2008 and majored in Photography and Fine Arts from Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts in 2012.Lila's work and research is very much focussed on documenting nature in all its forms. Fascinated by the encounter between organic and artificial she works on documenting the various representation of nature and more especially the manmade take on it, in zoos or museums for example. Through the systematic use of flash -that confers both an artificial light and plastic like textures-, she blurs the border between fake and real and forces us to look twice on things we underrate and take for granted. Growing up in a very remote part of the Armenian countryside she learned to attache great attention to her organic surroundings. Active both in animal rights and nature protection organizations, she uses her commission works to highlight the wonders of the nature around us and the way its presence -and our lack of care- affects our daily lives. Lila relocated in California where she often works in National Parks. She currently lives in Los Angeles.

Lucie Khahoutian est une artiste visuelle née à Erevan en 1990. 
Après un parcours à l’école Minas Avetysuan pour les arts appliqués elle reçoit son Master en Arts Visuels de l’université Américaine de Erevan en 2013.

Son corps de travail questionne l’identité visuelle Caucasienne tout en le confrontant à des codes contemporains issues d’une culture occidentale.
Elle illustre cette rencontre théorique par l’usage de différents médias: collage et photographie pour la production, installations immersive pour la diffusion. 
Elle a récemment été finaliste des prix Résidence BMW (FR), The New Vanguard (USA), Voies Off Arles (FR), Cosmos Award Arles (FR), ou Hyères Fashion and Photography Festiva (FR), et gagnante des concours Emerging Talents (Rome, Italie), Spotlight Award (Dublin, Ireland), Fotografia Europea (Regio Emilia, Italie), Krakow PhotoMonth (Cracovie, Pologne). Ses expositions récentes ont été présentées par des institutions telles que le Musée d’Art Contemporain à Rome, l’Aperture Gallery (NY), Red Hook Labs Galerie (NY), ou des festivals tels que Vogue Photo Milano, Circulation(s), Arles, Mois de La Photographie Los Angeles, ou Unseen Amsterdam. Son travail est présenté dans des publications telles que Foam Magazine, Dazed and Confused, El Pais, Internazionale, The British Journal of Photography, I-D, ou Fisheye Magazine. 
Elle est exposé internationalement depuis 2015 et fait partie des collections de la Villa Noailles et du Museum pour la Photographie de Tbilisi, et du Palais Galiera.

Charlotte Fos. 1990

Charlotte Fos est une artiste visuelle Canadienne née en 1990 à Montréal. Elle est diplômée en Arts Appliqués de l’université de Concordia et reçoit sa licence en études graphiques en 2010 ainsi qu’un Master avec honneurs en art digital en 2013. Son travail prend souvent la forme d’études compulsives suivant les thématiques qui l’obsèdent sur le moment. Avide collectionneuse, elle enquête sur les multiples possibilitées narratives d’une même image et crée des séries à variations, comme pour rechercher l’origine et le sens des sujets qu’elle aborde. Son intérêt principal porte sur l’ère gréco-romaine et son ésthétique, qu’elle mélange et confronte à des décors contemporains. A l’instar d’un archéologue, elle creuse et cherche à travers différentes époques de visuels à la recherche de similitudes et de sens entre notre pasé, et une époque aux semblants chaotiques où nos productions et usages ont grandement changés. Très intéressée par l’avancée technologique, elle moque la fébrilité des technologies et médias digitaux tout en questionnant notre capacité à fonctionner sans ces nouveaux outils. Elle est basée à Montréal, Québec.

Camille Lévêque. 1985

Camille Lévêque est une artiste visuelle dont la pratique mélange photographie, collage, vidéo et installation. Tout en développant continuellement sa pratique, elle explore essentiellement la notion mémoire, identités et intimité, mettant la famille comme pierre angulaire de son analyse. Fortement intéressée par la notion de mythologie familiale, sa recherche part d’une perspective individuelle pour se confronter à une perspective collective, construisant ainsi une conversation autour de l’importance de la mémoire dans l’histoire héréditaire et notre relation à la réalité.
En poussant les limites de médium photographique, elle joue d’une certaine façon avec le passé, à la recherche d’une nouvelle approche de l’autobiographie que ce soit à l’échelle individuelle ou collective.
Elle part vivre jusqu’en 2007 en Arménie où elle travaille pour l’UNHCR sur les suites de la guerre du Nagorno - Karabakh et la situation des réfugiés en Arménie. En 2010, elle occupe le poste d’assistante éditoriale chez Magnum Photos à Paris, puis s’installe aux Etats-Unis en 2011 pour développer sa pratique de photographe, graphiste, vidéaste et éditrice.
 
Elle est co-fondatrice de la maison d’édition Orpheus Standing Alone et fondatrice du collectif Live Wild. Son travail fait partie des collections de FotoMuseum Winterthur, FRAC île-de- France et Fondazione Orestiadi.

Ina Lounguine. 1993

Ina Lounguine est une artiste visuelle Ukrainienne née à Odessa.

Elle a été récemment exposée à Athènes, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris ou York. Elle est basée à Paris, France.

Anna Hahoutoff. 1993

Anna Hahoutoff est une photographe Franco-Russe née en 1993 à Paris d’une mère Française et d’un père Russe. Elle est diplômée de la Lviv National Academy en arts et management en 2012 et en histoire de l’art en 2014. 
Anna travaille depuis 2014 aux Etats-Unis, parcourant tous ses etats pour en documenter les différentes facettes ainsi qu’en présenter les différences et similitudes. Jouant de répétitions, comme pour se créer un quotidien visuel, elle compile des centaines d’images, pièces d’un puzzle aux milles histoires. Loin du road-trip tant proposé racontant une Amérique imprégnée des codes du western et d’une classe moyenne dans un empire capitaliste, elle tente de créer sa propre langue, ses propres codes, en insistant sur un aspect des Etats-Unis trop négligé: la force de sa nature, tout en évitant volontairement l’urbanisme et la présence humaine. Travaillant exclusivement en numérique et en couleur, ses images insistent sur les textures, les formes et les couleurs. Son travail est réguliérement publié internationnalement.

Marguerite Horay. 1981

Marguerite Horay est une artiste visuelle née à Bruxelles en 1981.
Elle obtient un bachelor en Arts Digitals de l’ENSAV Brussels en 2007 et un master de l’Academie d’Arts Plastiques de Ghent en 2011. Sa pratique multimédia mélange design graphique, illustration, gifs, collages et vidéo. Sa composition visuelle est fortement et directement influencée par la peinture et plus particulièrement le mouvement surréaliste. 
Travaillant avec comme base de collage un large panel de reproduction de peintures ou manipulation digitale de cartes postales vintage, elle obtient différents types de textures et rendus aux frontières de l’illustration, la photographie, et la peinture. La plupart de son travail tourne autour de l’élaboration de paysages déconstruits et abstraits. 
Elle a été exposée dans des foires et festivals tels qu’Unseen à Amsterdam ou Circulation(s) à Paris et son travail et publié à travers le monde. Elle est basée à Bruxelles, en Belgique.

Lila Khosrovian. 1987

Lila Khrosrovian est diplômée de l’Amasia Art school depuis 2008 aavec un bachelor en photography et arts plastiques de la Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts en 2012. Son travail et sa recherche sont très concentrés sur la documentatin de la nature sous toutes ses formes. 
Fascinée par la rencontre entre organique et artificiel, elle travaille à documenter les différentes représentations possibles de la nature, et plus spécialement celle altérée ou reproduire par la main humaine, dans le cadre de zoos ou musées par exemple. Par l’usage systématique du flash - qui confère à la fois une lumière artificielle et une matière quasi plastique- elle floute la frontière entre faux et authentique et nous oblige à regarder à plusieurs reprises les choses que nous estimons acquises ou sous estimons. Membre actif d’associations de défense de la nature et de la protection des animaux, elle profite de son travail de commande pour mettre en exergue la force et la beauté de la nature qui nous entoure tout en montrant l’impact de celle-ci sur notre quotidien.
Elle est basée à Los Angeles, Californie.
